PPTP VPN Help Needed

I'm having a problem connecting to a PPTP VPN at my university, here is a link to the config instructions that I used to configure my Linux Mint laptop: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/itservice/connect/methods/docking/linux/

Thais works fine, however I want to configure this in DD-WRT and have tried using both the PPTP WAN setting and the PPTP client when using standard DHCP WAN.

Currently in my VPN config on Linux Mint the only two VPN authentication methods I have active are MSCHAP and MSCHAPv2 and I think this could be the problem, however I am not certain.

I am completely new to DD-WRT so if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

What DD-WRT build are you using and on which device?

I had problems also.

DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/21/10) std on a D-Link DIR-615.

I think I may actually be having problems with the VPN subnet and subnet mask now.
