Until now I successfully installed dd-wrt on rt-n10 c1. New shipment arrived and this time hw ver D1. Inside is BCM5356COKFBG with 4mb flash and 16 mb ram.
I tried many ddwrt images but no success. Any idea?

I also tried multiple flash files... always ends in a reboot loop.
Loading the Asus firmware makes it work again.

I managed to brick him with : "dd-wrt.v24-21223_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_RT-N10.trx". it was unresponsive, and lights was at around 20% intensity. I managed to repair by programing serial flash 25Q32 using eeprom programmer.

I have the same problem - had C1, ordered a dozen more and they arrived with rev. D1 which doesn't work Sad

Is there any way to make it work or is the SoC used not supported at all?

I think that at the moment BCM5356C0 which is in D1 is not supported. I think that we have to be patient.

If you really want to get it supported quickly - send one of those 12 Rev D routers to Brainslayer - he'll get it working in no time! Otherwise, you'll need to wait until someone gathers the correct info from the router in order to have Brainslayer attempt to craete a build for it. But without the device in his hands, it makes it a lot harder to support (and more dangerous as in it could brick your router)...

I first tried to flash 21676 it booted fine in the webgui, But as I started configuring the router
1) pppoe username pass
2) ip of the router
3) dhcp pool
4) static dns
5) ntp time server
6) no-ip ddns service
7) under services I enabled ssh at 2222
8) telnet at 23
9) enabled log server and put in ip address
10) enabled vpn server ans put in ip and cleient ip range with chap secrets
the the moment I click APPLY... the webgui hangs and no response

ping to the router continues

then I hard reset the router back to 192.168.1.1

The webgui was accessable again followed the steps above upto point no:6 and clicked apply... again lost webgui acces

again HardReset the router tried to do firmware upgrade using k26_21676_ddwrt_mini.bin
again after upgrade lost access to webgui...

again Hardreset it and tried to flash k_26_21223_asusrtn10PLUSD1.trx after flash all the LED'S went very dimm (If I had read the forum I would not have flashed 21223

Thanks

Which is the original firmware version of ASUS in your bin file?

Any suggestions for a fairly stable dd-wrt verstion for rt-n10+ d1?

Not sure whether this info is useful. It was reported by some users in Taiwan that the following build works with RT-10+ D1 but the WAN port and LAN Port 4 is interchanged (i.e. LAN4 works as WAN port after flashing DDWRT). Some users also mentioned that PPPOE doesn't work.
