When you say fine, can you confirm you mean you are having none of the wifi problems I mentioned above? I'm trying to get stable wifi--even if it has to be 2.4GHz--so that my wife will return to being happy with the internet in our house

I'm in the same boat, I could care less about the 2.4ghz channel but the gf and her kids have consoles and tablets which won't connect to the 5ghz band so its a piss fest when it drops. I think I figured something out to prevent the 2.4 from crashing. Besides the settings in the image I have 802.1x enabled in the admin page. If I try any settings other than what I have the wireless channel will crash, doesn't matter if its any version of kongs or brainslayers firmware.[img][/img]
Have you followed that link by changing/saving the settings in the proper order?
I remember reading somewhere kong said for new AC devices that not following that order could lead to issues... something about options being populated on the fly based on settings selected.
I took away order of changing the settings is important. _________________ reenignE esreveR

1. Everyone on the forum has read the relevant forum section announcements.
2. For Broadcom section we have ALL at least tried to understand the "Peacock" thread,HERE

I've read and followed the method for changing settings and I still had the issue, this is the last reading I see after the 2.4 band crashes, and this error message only starts after the crash
DD-WRT kern.warn kernel: br0: received packet on vlan1 with own address as source address

might be same issue/bug they have a "bead on" over there
i can only confirm no issues on the BS r26138/Kong PTB 26135M revisions (as noted in my signature), from a R6300v2 angle _________________ reenignE esreveR

I'm on brainslayers r26138 and if I leave the settings alone it seems to fix the problem, 1 day and 18 hour without the wireless taking a crap. I'll give that page you linked a read through.

one step back from the bleeding edge isn't always a bad thing...
of course in the grand scheme of things I'd classify all of both Kong's PTB's and the BS 2015 Betas available as "cutting edge" (when compared to the entire SVN timeline the are both very recent...)
