Isn't the AC68U an Arm based processor?

Why is this under Broadcom.

Because thats how we roll. And because AC68 has Broadcom microchips that send signals over the wifi.

What question?

That was my understanding.

But I keep scratching my head why there is nothing about the AC68U in the Arm forums and most everything in the Broadcom forums.

I'm just confirming this thread is in the wrong forum and my understanding is correct.

I will continue reading the Broadcom forum for Arm based routers.

Hi,

I've installed the firmware succesfully, but cannot get the openvpn to work.
Does someone have a guide for this device or something?

When i try to connect i always run in to this error:

write to TUN/TAP : Invalid argument (code=22)

No idea how to fix it...

(Please forgive any dumb question, i'm still a ddwrt newbie Smile).

I just installed the r23700 build of K3-AC ARM http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/ and first of all I'm impressed with the change of the speed of the FTP via USB 3.0, but it keeps on crapping out about %50 in the transfer, not sure who to tell this to, but it's definitely much faster except for the whole stops working after %50 through transfer.

Thanks

I'm currently using v24-sp2 (02/19/14) std on my RT-AC68U, and it seems to work great. Any chance of an IPv6 capable build any time soon...?

Edit: I'm new here. Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, or asking in the wrong place.

just flashed r23700 Kong ac mod, pppoe just can not work as expected.
i am sure the isp side should be fine, because i changed to my old e3000, can dialup through pppoe and get internet access.
I tried to figure it out, by flashing back r23655 or even earlier version, and got no luck.

I also turned the debug on, and found nothing useful, the redial process just kept redialing.

syslogd -O -$(tty)

I have installed Kongs 23655 rel. and got OpenVPN to work fairly well. Not very fast but it works anyway. Have about 50% of the speed if I run OpenVPN on the Computer.

<Kong>

I've created the proper symlinks for the iptables commands as given elsewhere in the forum and the commands , iptables, iptables-restore seem to work, but the command iptables-save, returns the text,

"iptables multi-purpose version: unknown applet name..."

According to the code below it seems that the strcmp() is not recognizing "iptables-save".

Question: Is that line commented out or removed in your build?

Can you test it to see if it works?

Thanks
KCarterSr

progname = basename(argv[0]);

if (!strcmp(progname, "iptables"))

return iptables_main(argc, argv);

if (!strcmp(progname, "iptables-save"))

return iptables_save_main(argc, argv);

if (!strcmp(progname, "iptables-restore"))

return iptables_restore_main(argc, argv);

if (!strcmp(progname, "iptables-restore"))

return iptables_restore_main(argc, argv);

fprintf(stderr, "iptables multi-purpose version: unknown applet name %s\n", progname);

exit(1);

Hope this helps... my openvpn setup on ac68u, works well on my windows PC and on iPad with openvpn app - see screenshots:

Change the push IP in the config box to your LAN ie 192.168.2.0 (my router ip is 192.168.2.1)

Cut and paste the ca cert, server cert, server key and dh into the appropriate boxes, everything between BEGIN and END including the "-----"

Here is my firewall setting...

iptables -I INPUT 1 -p udp –dport 1194 -j ACCEPT

Client Script - change; your host name and client1 to your info:

remote yourhost.dyndns.com 1194

client
ns-cert-type server
dev tun0
proto udp
resolv-retry infinite
nobind
persist-key
persist-tun
cipher AES-256-CBC
comp-lzo
float

ca ca.crt
cert client1.crt
key client1.key

Can't anyone make modules cdc_ether & rndis_host for me?
I'm trying to set up USB 3G/4G dongle on AC68U with BrainSlayer's recommended build 22565.

There is usbnet.ko onboard, but no cdc_ether & rndis_host.

All worked fine on RT-N16 with 2.6 kernel (modules were found on forum).

I'm diving deeper and deeper in cross-compiling and modules, but still can't make them.

Otherwise, can't anyone give me tutorial for cross-compiling modules?

I've installed Ubuntu 12.04, toolchains-current, get svn://svn.dd-wrt.com/DD-WRT/src/linux/universal/linux-3.10.

As I'm a windows resident, I'm getting errors in every step and screwed up.

iptables-save is not compiled in the iptables we ship with the firmware
