I have on asuswrt-Merlin, and I finally got the interface to load, but had to create a few sym links in /www/user to point to /opt/YAMon2 (www/user is already created by default so I had to create a new user2 folder to point to YaMon)
Anyways, when I load webpage,I just get blank results, However, if I goto the data folder, the js files are there, and they are being updated
Please check your settings in config.file - esp., `_wwwPath`...

Hi,
I have a new TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 loaded immediately with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std - build 21061.
The whole purpose was to load Yamon (2.2.5).
I have a Linux .ext2 USB with yamon folder copied from windows using ext2fsd.
I tried to get winscp from win7 connected with both SCP and SFTP, 192.168.1.1, root, router password - but connections fail "Server unexpectedly closed network" and "the server rejected sftp..." (wrong passwords give same result).

Can I do this easier from Ubuntu VM on win7 host?
When using winscp, on the router SSH needs to be enabled for winscp to connect. _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

Hi, thanks. Yes I didn't state i'd followed the "Tutorial on configuring YAMON network monitor" which advises to set SSH, so Services>Services>Secure Shell>SSHd is enabled along with Password Login (and port 22).
Meantime I have rebuilt the usb and copied files within linux vm, setting all .sh file permissions to anyone.
Connecting usb to router it shows in Disk Info, mounted on /opt.
I was able set startup and shutdown, but running "/opt/YAMon2/Setup/yamon2.sh" gives no response (after a few seconds of 'processing'). And connecting to ../user/yamon2.html just has a blank page.

routers list shows only the one version supports wdr4300
Where would I be able to see the data and logs files? Removing the usb and connecting to Linux there are no such files in /YAMon2/
Changed _log2file to 2, no messages to screen
'top' does not return anything... 'ps' does return results (but does not list yamon)
(the -h qualifier also returns nothing, or invalid parameter)
dud command shell as well?
ls -d */ shows 'style/' and 'user/', but unable to 'cd' to either
===============================================
update...
now reloaded dd-wrt with beta 28882
winscp working
but yamon still not
no data or logs folders or files under opt/YAMnon2
_log2file=2
_loglevel=-1
command ps shows
[yamon2.sh] /bin/sh /opt/YAMon2/Setup/yamon2.sh
192.168.1.1/user/yamon2.html still blank page
permissions on .sh files show group & owner '1000' does not allow changing to 'root[0]'
Edit yamon2.sh and put -xv in the first line
I think it will look like #!/bin/sh -xv
New run the script again, all will be on your screen, see if you can find errors etc. _________________ Netgear R9000 main router

Your router appears to think it is 1969 rather than 2016?!?
Go to your DD-WRT web GUI-->Setup-->Basic Setup... in the `Time Settings` section, do you have an NTP Client selected? If no, select the one that is appropriate for our region.
The script will run if you do not have a valid time on the router.
I hope this helps.
(I'm embarrassed to confess that I never knew about the -vx option for bash... thanks blaser! That'll help a lot! I learn something every day!)
