The WR843ND has the same chip (AR9341) as the WR841ND version 8.

I've already modified the v8 build for WR843NDv1 and it is functional:

Hi Kryptx

I have tried both versions and it still bricks the router.

It is an 843N v2 and not and 843ND v2 maybe this makes a difference?

The FCCID is the same as the ND though

The best way to get firmware for the WR843N is to contact Brainslayer to see what he needs (donated router) to create a proper build...

I can confirm that TL-WR843 v1.5 is working fine with v1.0 firmware which was posted in this thread. Thank you, DD-WRT Team!

I recently found on Stock firmware page that 'Hardware' is v1.0 even if on router's rear it says v1.5.

DD-WRT works ok as WiFi AP. It shows chip - Atheros AR9341 ver 1 rev 1.3 (0x0123)

29739 firmware,
displays a message:
"Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name."
What should I do?

Sorry,that i bumped old theme Embarassed but i have this routerTP-Link TL WR-843ND v1.5 wich new dd-wrt version i can install in this device or maybe try other 3rd fw like openwrt? Rolling Eyes

Hello, can u tell me which version of firmware I can use for the 843v3. I will be very thankfull if u can send me a version I can try, no problem if it bricks my router, I know how to unbrick it and I will post detailed reply of my tests.
