completely novice here , plz someone there give me simple information about flashing of this V11 router to ddwrt firmware.
and plz tell me how much flash memory this device(v11.0) holds without HW modding
first reset to factory (stock firmware)
than use factory to dd-wrt first followed by flash with webimage

I tried exactly as you said
first i restore to fectory settings then tried to flash that .bin image(ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/11-14-2016-r30880/tplink_tl-wr841ndv11/factory-to-ddwrt.bin) bcz im from india (not us!)
but it gave me error massage (Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.)
my router info are these
Firmware Version:3.16.9 Build 160325 Rel.62500n
Hardware Version: WR841N v11 00000000
The first time I did it I F up, my router was dead it doesn't do anything.
I followed the steps in the above link and I had a brand new router again with the latest TL firmware.
