This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build. (eg: 26854_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

So trac signup is broken and I cannot report this.
The LED/USB bug present in recent builds of the D-Link DIR868L appears to be caused by a bug in the router identification code.
This appears to have been introduced in SVN rev 26520:
The nvram_match("gpio6", "wps_led") used to have a "!" in front of it. And indeed, on my router "get nvram gpio6" returns nothing. This would mean the system fails to see the router as a DIR868L and defaults to a generic broadcom northstar device.
I am also not sure about the last check for nvram_get("pci/1/1/venid")) (does it evaluate as true if it returns any non-zero value?) but "nvram get pci/1/1/vendid" on my router returns 0x14E4.
Could someone please fix this or report it in the SVN for me?

I've noticed in the past few builds that the commands interface doesn't seem to work.
These commands work fine from the shell, but when I attempt to run them in the GUI, I get the following, which is basically a complaint that it didn't like the command.
So somehow commands via the GUI are being interpreted differently than if I just typed them from the command line.
BTW, are these bugs tracked? Or should I create a ticket?

Upgraded from 26405 initially without reset. Browser and the little timer hung about 10 seconds into upgrade. Rebooted router, ended up with a soft brick (solid amber WAN light, green blinking power light). 30/30/30'd, TFTP'd back to stock, flashed 26138, then upgraded to 26854 (with reset) successfully.
