R8000 Can't change settings of default wl0

Hey all,

About a month ago I installed DD-WRT on my R8000 but was unable to change the SSID or any other settings (eg disabling broadcast) of the default wl0 interface. It has been stuck as "dd-wrt" despite changing settings (see imgur links below). Just installed the latest firmware today (http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_R8000.bin) hoping that it might be fixed, but it remains an issue.

I previously had installed DD-WRT on my R7000 for the same reason with no issues. I've tried doing a hard reset and restoring factory defaults to no avail.
