Hi everyone,

I have an issue with guest wifi setup. I follow this guide
http://tips.desipro.de/2013/12/06/guest-wifi-setup-dd-wrt/
I'm running Kong firmware 24500 (i try with the last one and same issue)

I have no internet connection on Guest wifi. It seems i cannot receive an IP adress (i configure a DHCP for WL0.1 as explain in the guide)

I have a R7000 connected to another router. I connect the R7000 to this router on port 1 (not WAN).

It's the other router who do DHCP. I setup R7000 as DHCP forwarder. The "standard" wifi work well, get an IP and have access to both LAN & internet but Guest wifi don't have access to LAN (that's what i want) and cannot access to internet.

Can you help me please ?

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong.

Thanks

First set it up corretly as a WAP.
See here >> http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Access_Point

Then see if this will help 'WAP Guest Network'
In most all cases you need to have a Local DNS set on main page. Usually same as gateway IP.
Without doing this the VAP usually can never get DNS ... don't know why ... that may just be an atheros thing...
