Disregard previous post -- that all did happen, but I came back today and power was back to being pretty low on 2.4ghz. Too bad. Luckily I only have 3 2.4ghz devices, and they are pretty close to the AP. The 5ghz speed is excellent.

Now i have latest EA6350 build (03-25-2016-r29346)
And i also have 2,4Ghz performance problem, get only 65Mbps

No it is not the same hardware and EA6200 is not yet supported by dd-wrt.

EA6200 has the 5GHz radio as wl0 while EA6350 has the 2.4GHz radio as wl0.
Your radio variables will be for the wrong radio and that's why you get extremely bad throughput.

So with edited CFE will not fix that ?

This is a webflash.bin file. The major problem is DD-WRT did not release factory to dd-wrt.img. They might worry about Linksys will lock the highest classes of Router such as WRT1200 AC and any new model routers using broadcom chip etc.

Because linksys firmware filename usually is .img, Not .bin.

At the begin, I real flashed to dd-wrt successful but when I updated the last of webflash rom on 17 Mar 2016 and click updated buttion. The evil dream had happened.

The mini dd-wrt version 27770 cannot flash again when stock Linksys Firmware roll back.

It cannot restore to dd-wrt firmware so CFE file also cannot help me!

Finally, I had brought WRT1200AC and Archer C7. I also flash it. It is successful. The bugs are WRT1200AC had a bug about DNS searching. If pptp server can get the problem.

I hope that DD-WRT can release ArcherC5v2 and Linksys EA Series FACTORY TO DD-WRT.img

Thanks

If dd-wrt plan to receive a fee about low grade router, it similar to buy app from play store If the price is below 10% of router price. I accept the fee.

If you have edit all nvram radio variables so they are correct for the EA6200 radios then it may work.

Here is dd-wrt screenshot:

Select a 2,4GHz channel, auto will not give you ht40!!

If you are using the Xvortex CFE I published with EA6350 radio parameters then there is only one edit you need to do for the swapped radios in EA6200, change the devpath variables:

devpath0=pci/2/1
devpath1=pci/1/1

That is much simpler than changing all 0: and 1: variables.

EA6200 is now supported for detection in dd-wrt but there will not be a separate build for it, it is included in the EA6350 build.

The only difference will be the routername displayed in the gui so if you want it detected as an EA6200 then you'll have to change 2 nvram variables in the xvortex CFE:

boardnum=20130125 (was 20140309 for EA6350)
boardrev=0x1100 (was 0x1200 for EA6350)

Thank you <LOM> !

I re-flash one more time xvortex_ea6350 with Yous suggestions:

devpath0=pci/2/1
devpath1=pci/1/1

boardnum=20130125
boardrev=0x1100

and now my EA6200 have perfect WiFi performance ! Smile

Ok i read this thread many time and got every probleme write on it. Shocked
When i web flash the linksys-ea6400-numinit-super-hacky-smaller-version.bin from the web flash i got the error
Code:

VFS: Cannot open root device "mtdblock3" or unknown-block(31,3): error -19

When i flash the same bin from the serial link i got
Code:

Changed to the other image 0 (maxpartialboots exceeded)

If a force a boot (flash both nflash.trx) i got a kernel panic. Rolling Eyes

The only way i make a boot from a dd-wrt is from the lastest build of kong at the URL:http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/
With this build everything work, webflash, serial flash, jtag flash. Very Happy
At this point i'm relativly happy, but i want to flash the xvortex_ea6350, but if i try a mtd command i got a a message how said that the unlock ou write command is not support by /dev/mtd0 device.

I try to flash the lastest dd-wrt 04-05-2016-r29409, from the kong build, but after a first succesful boot (witch is no support mtd command neither) if i reboot it bootloop.
I begin to believe that my version of EA6350 is not compatible with the official build of dd-wrt.

Can you help me to understand what's going on. Embarassed

Thanks in advence.

Hi!
With serial connection need flash two times:

nflash0.os
and
nflash1.trx

then reboot

And for xvortex CFE i did like this:

upload xvortex.bin CFE to router /tmp

then comand:
mtd erase mtd0
mtd write /tmp/xvortex.bin mtd0

When i erase mtd0 i get error but mtd0 was erased.
