This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 27944_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless.
If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ [I prefer answere in whole sentence]

I just flashed this on a Buffalo WZR-D1800H and my wireless is broken... I can connect to the router but not to the internet. It works fine with an ethernet cable.
I tried with and without a factory reset.
10-09-2015-r27944 messed up my Netgear WNDR4500V2 that was running fine on 09-28-2015-r27858. The web interface wouldn't load after upgrading the firmware. I did a 30/30/30 and it still acts like it's functioning properly, but I still can't access the webgui or telnet into it. Pinging the router only results in timeout responses, even when I initially boot the router. Any ideas?

I just installed this on an ASUS RT-AC68U and it broke DHCP for my wireless clients. 30/30/30 did not fix it nor did a factory defaults fix it. DHCP was working fine on wired. I immediately reverted to r27858 which has been working without issue.
Router: Linksys EA6900
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27858
Kernel: DD-WRT 3.10.89 #4618 SMP
Status: Reverted to r27858
Reset: Yes
Errors: Router hang on boot. No wifi. No GUI connected with cat5 and a static IP. Ping response was TTL=100 at boot and then continuous timouts after ~a minute. Had to tftp back to previous release.

Could not flash my WZR1750DHP's with this build, but after reading these comments I will stay away. Why ruin a good thing that last build has been working beautiful.
E4200 V1 flashed with dd-wrt.v24-27944_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-e4200.bin (no reset). WiFi connects and then disconnects over and over. Flashed back to dd-wrt.v24-27858_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-e4200.bin. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei

Quick update: The webgui was finally accessible after 10+ minutes of being powered on. I quickly reverted back to the previous firmware, and all is well again.
Have only upgaded one of my EA6300V1's. I upgraded from 27858. It took numerous reboots - it eventually seemed to reset itself to factory defaults on 27944.
This was no big deal as its only used as an AP - the 2nd one will be more painful as i use some startup commands for the WAN interface (Damn Sky UK!!)
Not brave enough to do the second one just yet! _________________ Downstairs EA6300v1 - DD-WRT build 27858
