"When we verify the hash, we can rest assured the firmware is not corrupted and is safe to flash."

Look at the hash value and compare it to the one shown below. If the values don't match, something is wrong. DO NOT flash the firmware until you can verify that the hash is correct!
Forget about that. The checksums are incorporated in the build files and verified when flashing. You don't need to compute checksums yourself. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

That does not show me that my download was received 100 percent in tact as the author intended, as it would be if checked from a hash posted on the website... just like all the rest of the official builds.
The dd-wrt wiki advises to check your downloads with hash sums before flashing, it's important and should not be ignored.
Does anyone else know if 'any' hash md5/sha1/sha? are available for Beta builds ? I can't find them anywhere.
Odd, hash sums are standard, why are they missing in the Beta builds ?
It appears both of you are qualified if your router resume listed is true, to answer a simple question presented here. I have a legitimate question directly related to the dd-wrt wiki, maybe you both missed that.
Since you both are ignoring the dd-wrt Wiki,
maybe you would share your method to verify a downloaded firmware against a hash in a linux terminal (As the dd-wrt wiki recommends) without a hash sum from the website (missing from beta builds) ?
