i want to use as a client but lan does not work and i can get into the router only with wifi. want to revert to tp link software i will get a version 3 to use in the meantime. can you help me revert ?

look, the router is cheap but some of us here need a router only for client mode why get a 700 dollars router and flash it with unstable ddwrt? All builds of ddwrt are unstable yet we still use it what im saying if it don't work cant we just get a file to get back to stock i don't think that's difficult to do. I dont mind the released beta firmware for the V4 as long as it works with the lan port i dont mind rebooting it once a week plus i dont mind the ui crashing and i have to log back becasue of distorted images.

tp links has recovery mode. I used it couple of times...

procedure is the same... point is that tp links have recovery mode. Rename firmware you want to upload and use tftp method...
