@yellaboyla just to clarify -
If you just installed dd-wrt on your router and it is in its default settings both ath0 & ath1 SSIDs are 'dd-wrt' therefore making it hard to tell what the client is seeing.
In this type situation my mobile devices will only see one SSID named dd-wrt.
You need to rename the 5GHz to something else to distinguish it from 2.4.
The devs (years ago) should have added different default SSID for dual/trilple band routers...IMO
I always rename them...Problem looks like some drivers did not load

You never said what build you Installed????? (exact file name / date)
apparently the ath1 is running -- not sure why you don't see it.
You can via telnet:
killall hostapd
hostapd -B -P /var/run/ath1_hostapd.pid /tmp/ath1_hostap.conf
hostapd -B -P /var/run/ath0_hostapd.pid /tmp/ath0_hostap.conf
then do a -
cat /tmp/ath1_hostap.conf
while you are in there see what she says --
not that it is going to change anything.
Make sure both radio are set same Regulatory Domain in advanced settings.
change channel to 149
set to VHT80
assumming you have tried this but do it if not.
Try revert back to linksys FW ??????

I don't know. I don't see any difference betweeen the ea8500 and the r7800 I have. Or the r7500v2 I have.
I like that I can go back and forth between dd-wrt, netgear and voxel.
The ea8500 just had dd-wrt.
I got it in trade for an Apple TV 3 I wasn't using. Maybe Kong or bs can support it with out the hardware since it seems the only difference between it and the ea8500 is the 4x4 and esata port.

I may not need to put a serial cable on it. I'd already seen that thread.
I flashed ea6900 builds on an ea6300v1, on ea6500v2 and on an ea6700 and they worked.

i dont see qca9982 & qca9983 fw anywhere, assuming they take different fw than 9980 & 9984, if this even works expect no wifi. id ask brainslayer first at least. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)
