Router: Linksys E2500 V3
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r29048 mega (02/05/16)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.96 #11399 Fri Feb 5 09:13:34 CET 2016 mips
Status: OK
Reset: No
Errors: No

This is the best build i've ever installed. Some previous build including the last 29002 doesn't work very well. With those builds wireless connection always slower around 10 mbps (i have 50 mbps connection), except wired connection gave me a good result. This new build both wireless and wired connection give me around 45-47 mbps with same configuration.

Usb is working fine for me.

Errors: USB storage doesn't work - when I plug in a USB mass storage device the router doesn't see it and nothing shows up in dmesg or /var/log/messages with syslogd enabled. Additionally no entry for the USB mass storage device is created in /dev/. I've tried disabling and reenabling USB storage support in the web UI and don't see anything in the router's logs when I do that, so I'm wondering if something may be broken with enabling USB storage.

Jaythree, what is the USB device formatted to? I'm using FAT32 and it is working without any issues for me. Here's what I have on the USB tab:

Code:
--- /dev/sda1
Block device, size 1.861 GiB (1998291456 bytes)
Windows BOOTMGR boot loader
FAT32 file system (hints score 4 of 5)
Volume size 1.857 GiB (1994096640 bytes, 486840 clusters of 4 KiB)
/dev/sda1 mounted to /tmp/mnt/sda1

After a couple of hours working .. a lot of issues .. wifi 2.4 & 5 has bugs , returns .. usb mount has bugs too ..

Kernel 4.4 has lots of bugs at least in R7000 and Buffalo WZR1750 ( both ARM units ) ..

Kong was right when went back to 3.10 ...

I revert to Kong 29020 and its working like a charm ...

Very Happy Very Happy

Virtual interfaces have it's own subnetworks, wireless security, qos and so on - but they have NO mac filter. Add please mac filters for virtual interfaces, or make 2.4ggz and 5ggz mac filters to work on all interfaces of the same band.

router seems stable however I am getting absolutely terrible download speeds. I'm not sure my wan port is at 1000gb connect. I do not have QOS or VPN enabled; getting 75mbps download on a 240mbps download line.

watching the routers cpu (through console command top) shows plenty of cpu available during speed test.

how can i validate port speed on the wan port?

Getting tons of disconnections between 2 WZR-D1800H in repeater bridge mode.

The repeater router will go offline wirelessly, for hours, only way to get it to connect to router 1 is to remove encryption, apply, setup encryption, apply.

wl1 is also inaccessible when that happens.

Going to try 29059.

Router: 2 x RT-AC66U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r29048 giga (02/05/16)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.96 #11383 Fri Feb 5 09:00:33 CET 2016 mips
Status: WDS Bridge at 5 GHz AC only.
Reset: No
Errors: Yes

Random disconnects. It will lose internet, upon checking the status page wouldn't load, wait a min or 2 and the status page becomes available, status shows great connection but still cant access other side of bridge.
I then reboot and connection becomes active again.
