Hi everyone,
its bin a long while since I was playing around with DD-WRT. A friend of mine gave me his TL-WR1043ND version 1 which he hardly used and I want to put DDWRT on it for regular, stable use in my flat.
Which is the most STABLE build that you guys would recoomend to use with this router?

22118 or 21286 if its a version 1.8 thin get something other than a WR1043ND v1.8
I have both v1.11 and v1.8. Why v1.8 sucks?
Also, does anyone else confirms that the only real stable dd-wrt firmwares for TL-WR1043NDv1 are 22118 or 21286 from 2013? I wanna flash both routers with the most stable and up to date firmware possible.
The build r33345 works fine on my WR1043ND v1.11, but I use this device only as a cable switch (WAN disabled, wireless turned off) and with a Samba shared USB drive. So I can't say anything about the stability of its other functions.
I know that the next two available versions (r33375 and r33413) would work for me too, but they have a general issue with tplink devices: Web up- or downgrade does not work from these versions, you need to go over the stock firmware with the TFTP method in oder to change the version (see also here).
