Hi,
I am still working on getting my Guest Network up and running and while doing so I became curious about the VLAN numbering.
As you can see in the image below, the [VLANs] tab tells me VLAN0 is LAN and VLAN1 is WAN.
Looking at the [Networking] tab, it says VLAN1 is LAN and VLAN2 is WAN.
It even becomes more interesting that there also is a VLAN0 which you can (for example) assign to bridge br1. When you do so, the WAN port does not get an IP adres anymore.
Is there anyone who can explain this? _________________ Netgear WNDR4300v1 DD-WRT v3.0 BS r29837 | Netgear R6400 DD-WRT v3.0 KB r33525M | Tickets: 5429 IPv4 & IPv6-PD | ProFTP & Samba to USB thumb | DNSMasq DHCPv6 | Pi-Hole on RasPi
I have the same thing, vlan2 = wan port and then bro0 = vlan1=eth 0 & 1, so in my understanding of it, the configuration is wan port(vlan2) to bro0(vlan1 = eth 0&1)
I had different settings in the vlan tab on the same brand router. _________________ Please Fix The Following Bugs:
