I am running Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r30020M kongac (06/26/16)on a Netgear R7000 router. I have been running various FW versions over many months. For a long time EoIP would not automatically survive a reboot of either router. You have to press the Apply button on the Network tab of the UI on the rebooted router and EoIP would come back to life.

I tried using rc restart in my startup script. This returned EoIP to service for only about 5 pings and then it dies again.

There is an open Bug #4061

EoIP survives reboots in Kong dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD Build 23900 04-16-2014 and it's pretty much not survived reboots since then. If there was some way to script the function of the Apply button we may have a work around.

All this being said I am truly grateful for Kong's and Brainslayer's work and the really great firmware you have provided. Thanks! -Rick

I reported the bug quite a while ago. No action has been taken. You need to manually hit the apply settings under the advanced routing tab under settings.
