Edit: Just to clarify, I am not suggesting to replace DG950A with WBMR-HP-G300H. I just want to say, in general, modem routers are not supported but there is one exception.

It's a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem/router and as such your cable ISP has control of the firmware.
