This is a start up post to help bring in information specifically for the Arris Router/ Model #DG950A.

(in my personal research, no datasheets have been found)

As per this wiki: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Known_incompatible_devices router with integrated modem is not supported by dd-wrt due to the modem part. There is only one exception which is the Buffalo WBMR-HP-G300H.

Edit: Just to clarify, I am not suggesting to replace DG950A with WBMR-HP-G300H. I just want to say, in general, modem routers are not supported but there is one exception.

It's a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem/router and as such your cable ISP has control of the firmware.

If you want to use dd-wrt then buy a docsis 3.0 modem and then buy a dd-wrt supported router.
