This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 30432_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless.
If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Model: Netgear WNDR4500v2
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r30471 giga (08/24/16)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.102 #13968 Wed Aug 24 16:35:27 CEST 2016 mips
Uptime/Mode/Previous: 15min / AP / 30432
Status: No reset; I last did one with 30082.
The previous firmware was up over 8 days without dropping the 2.4 GHz radio, which confirms having a VAP setup (regardless of it working) fixes that previously common problem. MoreBloodWine indicated a reboot fixes the VAP/Guest network, and I recall mrjcd mentioning it for other routers, but I haven't tried that yet. _________________ #NAT/SFE/CTF: limited speed w/ DD#Repeater issues#DD-WRT info: FAQ, Builds, Types, Modes, Changes, Demo#

Reset: Not initially, but the internet disconnected even though the lights were flashing up a storm, so I power-cycled the router. This happened about 15 min after initial loading of the firmware. I did not do a NVRAM reset nor a router reset initially. Probably should have done at least the reset.
Errors/Issues: See Reset.
Speedtest: Seems to be OK, but looks like Comcast lowered my max rate to 20Mb download, initially was 30.
Oops, as I was writing this, and about 15 min after the initial reset, the router UI locked up, even though it was still happily flashing its lights. I was able to navigate to a separate website, so it was still acting as a router. Maybe that was a fluke from the reset. But if it happens again, I'm going back to a previous version.
It seems my D-Link DIR-880L is broken now. I'm not near the device, so I can not check why right now.
Update: after a factory reset everything works fine.

Seems like clockwork, after another 15 min or so, the UI on 30471 on my R7000 hung again, so I jumped ship and went with Kong's 30465. In any case, I do appreciate the hard work Brainslayer performs on these versions of dd-wrt. Thanks much.

Why going back if you haven't even done an erase nvram?
Despite that, there is a boot loop fix in 65 that is not present yet in 71.
