I need help configuring an Asus RT-AC56U. I am trying to connect to a company router.

I am using a Ubiquity NanoBeam AC to pick up the wireless signal (configured as a wireless bridge).

The wireless access point that I am connecting to assigns dynamic IPs in the range of 192.168.3.X, net mask 255.255.254.0
and the gateway IP address is 192.168.2.254.

I can access the internet when:

1) Connecting with a cellphone to the access point.
2) Connecting from a PC via LAN cable to the Ubiquity, the LAN configured either to pick up a dynamic IP address or setting a static IP address 192.168.2.253 and net mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.2.254
3) Connecting from a PC through a D-Link DI-504M router via LAN cable (PC-DLink,DLink-Ubiquity), the D-Link either getting a dynamic IP address or while setting the WAN IP addresses of the D-Link to
192.168.2.253,255.255.255.0,192.168.2.254, the LAN portion of the D-Link is set to 192.168.0.1 (static) while the PC network is set to 192.168.0.10,255.255.255.0,192.168.0.1.

I CANNOT connect to the internet when using an Asus RT-AC56U which is running DD-WRT V24 no matter how hard I try.

I tried a scenario where the WAN port of the Asus connects to a DLink LAN port and another scenario where the WAN port of the Asus connects directly to the Ubiquity.

While the Asus is connected directly to the Ubiquity bridge, I have tried getting a dynamic IP address (it does receive a valid IP address, such as IP address 192.168.3.259, 255.255.254.0, 192.168.2.254) as well as setting a static WAN address to
192.168.2.253,255.255.255.0,192.168.2.254.

Interestingly, in both cases I can access a camera which sits on the company network at IP address 192.168.2.1. However it will not let me access the internet through the DD-WRT router. I can ping the gateway at 192.168.2.254 but not any external IP address such as 8.8.8.8.

Thinking that it may be a MAC address block of some sort, I enabled MAC address clone and set the WAN MAC address to the PC MAC address (which I also set the DLink to). Both connecting the PC directly and through the DLink I can get internet access access but not going through the DDWRT.

Any ideas?

Some additional observations:

1) I could connect to the internet with this very same Asus router when connecting to a different router (which however 1is no longer in service) so I doubt the Asus is defective.
2) I also tried connecting using a Linksys E2000 router running Tomato. Same issue.

There is no such IP address as 192.168.3.259.

The maximum value for each octet is 254 and 255 is broadcast.
