For the linksys EA6900 with Xvortex CFE, the MAC addresses are only properly initialized if you reset with WPS button (hold WPS button, unplug, wait 10 seconds, replug and wait approx. 25 seconds until linksys light flashes)
Resetting by GUI or erase nvram gets the same MAC addresses for both wireless. Maybe this can help you also _________________ Routers:Netgear R7000, R6400v1, R6400v2, EA6900 (XvortexCFE), E2000, E1200v1, WRT54GS v1.

thank you. i tried your suggestion tree times without succes.
but really the Xvortex CFE causes this problem. i changed to koolshare CFE an now both radios have diffrenet MAC.

Sorry for putting both in the same post, not sure if you wanted them separate but the issue is related to both.
I updated both to the latest build from 10/18/16 and both worked fine without error, except that my bridge WiFi speed was super slow (15mbps at best). I found Steve Jenkin's recommendation for the E4200 to not update to a K3.x version because of WiFi speed issues, so I rolled back to dd-wrt.v24-29739_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin and now my speeds are acceptable again. Before rolling back I did do a 30/30/30 and re-flash, as well as tweaking some settings but it was still slow.

No problems, but the GUI is a bit slower than the previous one.
