How to turn led lights off on TP-link C9

I have v3.0-r30731 std running on my TP-Link C9 v1 router. It has Broadcom BCM4709 CPU.
I'd like to turn led lights off altogether. Is this possible with some dd-wrt command?

Just did a search and it seems like some other users had asked this before though not really router specific:

I guess simplest way is really just putting some opaque tape over the LEDs but if you prefer a different approach that involves a bit more difficulty and time consuming, it appears that there is some LED script on the DD-WRT Wiki which involves messing with the GPIO pinout as mentioned in that same thread that you can check out. I am not really an expert so take my answer with a grain of salt.
