I have a Trendnet TEW-732BR on the way. It is an atheros SoC AR9341 8mb/64mb. This is the same chip set as a TP-Link WR841ND v8 but with twice the flash/ram. There is a DD-WRT build for the WR841ND but not for the TEW-732BR
There is an OpenWRT build for the TEW-732BR but I would prefer to use DD-WRT betas because of the updated OpenSSL source.

I have the GPL source from Trendnet and found a flash size variable of 8mb. The OpenWRT development wiki has a section on setting up the flash layout. My searches for "flash+layout" in the Development section came up empty.

I'm wondering if I can use the WR841NDv8 build and adjust the flash layout in DD-WRT to 8mb? Perhaps mount the squashfs system loopback and copy the binaries to the bigger layout?

Edit 01Jan2017:I think I found the scripts to extract the firmware and rebuild.
