No to beat a dead horse, but I am just curious: Before there used to be a new version released almost daily, then it became weekly, then a few times a month...now it's once every five weeks on average.
I understand this is a volunteer effort (and as an end user I am greatly thankful for your hard work and dedication) and the developers have day jobs and families to attend to.
That said, is there a release cycle or any other mechanism whereby end users looking for the latest release be able to know when a new version is available (other than reloading the http://ftp.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/ page every few days)?
or
Alternatively, pulling the source and compiling (I've heard this process is notoriously difficult and not widely encouraged)
