Done some searching and can't find the answer. i have DD-WRT v3.0-r31060m running on a R8000 and want to use the wn2000rpt to extend the range a bit out to my shop.

DD-WRT Config

wl0 - ssid1

wl0.1 - ssid2 with different ip scheme, unbridged

wl1 - ssid1

wl1.1 - ssid2 (same scheme as wl0.1), unbridged

wl2 - ssid2

wl2.1 - same as other vap

Subnet used on the vap is QOS'd to keep users on that ip space from impacting business on ssid1.

I want the extender to run off the vap to get the same QOS rules applied.

It connects successfully, client associates and pulls ip address from correct ip pool. The traffic isn't routed to the internet tho. need a bit of help!

thanks!

Think I'll be able to get this sorted as I just found I can put dd-wrt on the extender most likely.

So reading on my phone looked like it'd be possible but no, not possible to get dd-wrt on the extender, so back to the initial question...
