There doesn't seem to be a way to go back to stock, flashing the linksys firmware from DD-WRT temporarily makes it stop working until you reboot it a few times.
Can't find a dd-wrt-to-stock.bin anywhere for this model. |
Do you have a recent build on it? Brainslayer supposedly has recently made it so that you can revert to stock by flashing the linksys firmware from the GUI. |
Yes, I have a WRT1900ACS v2
Info page shows this:
Router NameDD-WRT
Router ModelLinksys WRT1900ACS
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r36104 (06/10/1
Kernel VersionLinux 4.9.107 #155 SMP PREEMPT Sat Jun 9 12:51:41 CEST 2018 armv7
I tried flashing the stock image: FW_WRT1900ACSV2_2.0.2.188405_prod.img
It uploaded the file, then chrome displayed "page error: empty response".
Tried going back to the Web GUI, and it displays "error connection refused"
The power light stays steady, and every few seconds blinks 3 times.
Internet indicator is lit orange, and my LAN light is on (plugged in)
.
I also tried the WRT1900ACSv1 firmware, and not setting "after flash, reset to factory"
If I do this, the upload completes successfully, but the power light blinks 2 times every 1 second. No internet light, no GUI, no DHCP.
After a reboot same thing happens if I set "reset to factory"
After trying both of these I waited 10 minutes then rebooted the unit
After a few seconds the power light flashes 2 times very quickly.
GUI never loads, DHCP does not work.
Trying to boot it 3 more times finally gets it to work again, but back in DD-WRT |
