Hi all,
I am using dd-wrt r32597 on my R9000 and cannot connect it to the ISP with PPPoE.
I have tested:
Same PPPoE account and line on an R7000(dd-wrt r31520M) - no problem.
Same PPPoE account and line on an macbook - no problem.
DHCP on R9000(dd-wrt r32597) WAN port - no problem.
PPPoE on R9000 store firmware 1.0.2 - no problem.
PPPoE on R9000(dd-wrt r32597) - FAILED
Here is the ifconfig:
root@DD-WRT:~# ifconfig|grep Link

Try to use the System Log :> Syslogd on tablad Services..
Check you syslog on status tab:
Check if the PPPoE is making any connection, and try to find any errors or faults,
mostly marken in Red/yellow:
then come back and ask again with the errors you found on syslog.. _________________ Router Model: Netgear R7800

have you tried to clone mac address and same router name
my ISP requires this so i have to mimic their router...
or try newer build, some ISP even require VLAN tagging..
but this might not be the case.... _________________ Atheros
