Router/Version: Linksys WRT610N v1
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 mega (08/03/17) ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/08-03-2017-r33006/broadcom/dd-wrt.v24_mega_generic.bin
Kernel: 2.4.37 #46181 Thu Aug 3 06:34:59 CEST 2017 mips
Previous: v24-sp2 mega 16403M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2011/03-17-11-r16454/broadcom_K26/dd-wrt.v24-16454_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin (I couldn't find the exact version I had installed, so this one seems to be the next release.)
Mode/Status: Not all settings are saving and I have to mess with it after a restart to get everything working.
Reset: Used the GUI reset during the upgrade and after the install, then did a 30/30/30 because it wasn't clearing settings.
Issues/Errors: Tried using the K2.6 big version ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/08-03-2017-r33006/broadcom_K26/dd-wrt.v24-33006_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin, but whenever I had encryption turned on for any SSID (standard or virtual), the SSID wouldn't broadcast and I couldn't connect to it even if I enabled "connect if not broadcasting". It didn't show up on my WiFi analyzer either, and that catches invisible AP all the time.

I switched over to K2.4 and almost everything works, except it still doesn't save some settings, and when I reboot the device, I need to disable the security and re-enable it. If I don't, it works like when I had the K2.6 version installed and no secured APs are visible.

For more information, the following thread has a bit more detail. http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1091153

Also, it seems to randomly enable security on the open virtual SSIDs I've setup. When that happens, just like the normal SSIDs, I have to disable security before it will show itself after a reboot. The problem with it not enabling one or more SSIDs because of encryption is mostly limited to the 2.4GHz band, but I just restarted it before this post and it happened on my 5GHz virtual SSID.[/url]

Uhgg...Welp, thx for testing. So much for my attempt at that one after reading what you said lol. Was looking through all of this hoping one of them would show up with good results. All three (890/880/868)seem to have issues, but like you pointed out, it's been an ongoing problem for quite some time. r30432 works superbly on my 880 but it's a year old now. No idea what could have caused so many issues for so long. Crying or Very sad Was hoping to get a look at this new toys they added.

Well I'm guessing that the Netgear models having the same problem since 30432 will brick too, I was hoping that with this size shrunk build would be solved. Try Kong, it should work.

On my rt-ac3100, I can't connect to the 2.4ghz regardless of the mode setting when I select channel 6 which is the best in my area.
It keeps saying incorrect password, cannot connect.
If I change to channel 11, not optimal, I can connect.

I also had to downgrade using the recovery option. Kept rebooting into 33006 if I tried o downgrade to a previously working build.

Does that show up due to an iptables module loading?

Btw, that message has been around since 2012 and doesn't mean anything until automatic helper assignment is actually removed "someday". More on it:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=906156#c4
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/13183

It was asked here once, no reply. I thought Kong did reply about it once, but couldn't find anything.
