Hello All,
I am running the latest DD-WRT Build(R33006)and I would like to report a possible issue unless I am missing something.
When I try to use the "Turn off radio at boot" option, the router crashes after 20-30 minutes and I cannot connect to the internet. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. I would like to turn off the router wireless radio.
Router: WZR-1750DHP
Kernel: Linux 4.4.79 #1798 SMP Wed Aug 2 10:41:19 CEST 2017 armv7l
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 std (08/03/17)
Reset: No
Thank you!

QOS
ovpn server
restricted guest on wl0.1
up 5 hrs all good
QOS on further observation upload is not working.
Download is good / upload all over the place. Used HFSC & HTB w/fq_codel on 10/1 cable connection. Several different UL settings had no affect....bufferbloat go off chart where DL always good and complies with settings.
Working in previous build used.
dang never seen this mess before. Just ssh into this router and run dmesg.
Although all is working I think it may be sick.

One of those MACs is a commercial Brother printer. The other is a cheapy HP printer both are
set as static leases along with several other connected devices. This setup has not been
changed in many many months. All appears working .. even its pissy ovpn server works fine.

Don't really want to guess the problem but DNSMasq comes to mind.
No complaints yet -- but reckon better get back that way and install r32170 on it before it blows.
I call the brothel bad the dark alley is fine with me.
If the NSA or some service from another country would be snooping on your connection, they could crack it, otherwise there is no reason to worry.
Just been doing some research on broadpwn and on TekThing they said saw that it affects BDCM 4354 4358 4359 chipset but they were referring to cell phones both iPhones and Android but what about Linux based BCM chipsets like BCM 4360, do you know if the DNSCrypt and the other DDWRT security features can block this attack or do i have to go get my pick axe handle again and rest it by the front door for people parking outside my home using wirehark?

I can only speak for dd-wrt, broadpwn does not work on dd-wrt the vulnerable part in the driver is not compiled into the driver we ship with dd-wrt ( also applies to older builds ). _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

Try flushing your browser cache
Just seems the same, it's strangeness. PC cannot open any web page, except dd-wrt control panel.
Try two things...
erase nvram and then delete your internet cookies, note that if you delete the internet cookies you will loose any auto signin to various sites you may have.
Try erase nvram, upgrade to r33006, Just seems the same.

which i have had before but they cause no issue as far as i can see, however this build causes wifi to constantly disconnect devices and upon reconnect the internet also disconnects for a moment. This has been happening alot on recent builds...
What if you turn off SFE in Setup->Basic Setup? SFE (Shortcut Forwarding Engine) is a new toy in recent builds.
Same issue, i've gone back to 30534 as that's the most stable i know of without testing 10+ builds. If you know of a more rcent and just as stable build for the ac87u please let me know
Could you please tell me if you are able to turn off your wireless radio without the router crashing after 20 to 30 minutes? We have the same setup and I thought I would run this by you in case the problem only exists on mine.
Thank you!

Yes, both wireless radios are off on mine. I use this router only for wired connections. They were off before I upgraded too but my uptime is:
up 5 days, 2:46,
had a power outage during the week or it would have been a over a week now.

Router: Linksys WRT54GL v1.1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 mini (08/03/17)
Kernel: 2.4.37 #46171 Thu Aug 3 06:25:54 CEST 2017 mips
Status: Working
Reset: Yes - webgui reset, telnet & erase nvram on both sides of install
Errors: None so far
I incremented this up from a build back in May, flashing through a few versions with nvram erased just because - and so far with the mini build I've had no issues I've noticed (and I've been pushing it hard, although I can't state more than 2 days uptime thus far due to said testing). Lots of mucking about with repeater bridges and speedtests and LAN/WIFI file transfers from thousands of tiny rsyncs to some ~8GB .ISO files, pretty well anything thrown at it - and all handled with suave aplomb.
Excellent build, I'm so pleased and grateful at all of the work that goes into this - who'da thunk an old WRT54GL would still be useful and in active use!?
:) I'm using this for a repeater bridge to kick a barely "legible" signal from an ISP provided modemrouter box and cranking it up to normal so a raspberry pi can have some services running on it despite its poor location versus the physical internet ingress)
Two thumbs up! THANK YOU!! _________________ Primary Router for Residential 150Mbps/150Mbps Fiber:
