Try Us domain, try other channel e.g. 108, I easily get > 200 Mb/s on my R6400

Of course WPA2 /AES for security.

The range of 5 GHz is limited so you can only get good speeds with 5 GHz if you are adjacent to your router.

Do not use auto channel
Do not use optimize multicast
Do not use spaces or comma's in your SSID
Do not use mixed other then AC/N mixed for 5 GHz

It is the same result by me. The Download speed is too slow. Over 100Mbits Download speed not using.

I have no idea why this is so. I have exact the same config changed but no effect.

With LAN Cable on Notebook i have fullspeed with 205Mbits.
With Laptop AC Wlan, Smartphone Note 4, S7 Edge, S8 with AC 5GHZ Connection Downloadspeed under max 100 Mbits.

With Lan Cable on Laptop without Wlan 200-205Mbits Fullspeed.

With Wlan only 40-100Mbits with 5GHZ AC Connection.

or have the newest Build from Kong a Bug with Wifi Speed?

That is the first flash from DDWRT on my R6400. Over 6 month no problem with AC Wlan Speed on Netgear Stock Firmware. Always 200Mbits Fullspeed constant.

Only with DDWRT i have problem with Downloadspeed. But what is the problem by my config.

And why by Sys Info the Rate is always different?

AC Wlan > 780 Mbps, 866,5 Mbps, 400 Mbps, 702 Mbps......
2,4 Wlan > 65 Mbps, 104 Mbps, 78 Mbps, 130 Mbps....

You came from stock so I advise you to do an erase nvram again.
Telnet into your router and do:
Code:
erase nvram  # you should see Flash is NAND xxxxx
reboot

Put your settings in manually

In my opinion, we are waiting for the new build. I have the same problem with my new R8500 and the WRT1900ACSV2. They are snails. They have all 2 problems on the wifi. During streaming buffering, buffering, buffering ... it's been a long time since another build is released. We are running out in my opinion ....

I am using the latest Kong build 34015, and speedtesting from WLAN <> LAN, 5 GHz on an old laptop, which can only do VHT40 single stream, gets me 230Mb/s, connection status show as VHT40 300Mb so that is exactly as expected I think.

Android phone show connected VHT80 866Mb/s However I can not test from this Android phone (I can run speedtest but my internet is just 40/4)

You are sure you have a R6400 v1 and not a v2?

yes i have Netgear R6400 V1 not V2

With my HP Probook with Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 i have

with 2,4 GHZ good Downloadspeed 188Mbits+
download 18-20 MB/s
with 5 GHZ i have max Downloadspeed 60-120 Mbits
download 2,4-4,4 MB/s

With Smartphone LG G4, LG G5 with 5GHZ i have Downloadspeed from 180-202Mbits

With LG Smartphones Connection is OK with 5GHZ

With all "Samsung" Smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung S8, Samsung S7.....with 5 and 2,4 GHZ the Speed is very very very slow

with 2,4 GHZ max 100 Mbits + -
with 5GHZ 60- 100 Mbits + -

Is here a problem with all Samsung Phones with Wlan Chip and DDWRT?
