With QoS enable i have fullspeed 200Mbits on my Samsung Smartphone with 5GHZ Connecting.

But why i must enable that for Fullspeed by Samsung Phones and by LG Smartphones i must not enable that?

Why this option QoS enable is not default in ddwrt firmware?

I tried Tomato yesterday which is even worse regarding WiFi speed on R6400.
In fact, TP-Link 1043ND V1 was much faster with OpenWRT than R6400 was with Tomato. I reverted back to stock firmware and I'm a bit cautious about installing something DD-WRT. Only when someone confirms it will not degrade WiFi performance compared to stock firmware.

I have the same problem you have. I used to get 5G wifi all over my house. Now it's barely stable in the same room. Sitting 2 meters from the router, the receive signal level wavers from 2 to 5 bars constantly and the speed is always slower than 2G. Doesn't matter the power level I set. It would seem the driver is quite unstable. I'd be amazed if a setting could correct this but if you find a fix please post it.

The optimal settings already have been said by egc. Not every router is the same, so you might want to try older builds, sometimes is a hit and miss game. I would suggest latest 31xxx build, though be aware that it hasn't got SFE nor KRACKS patch.

Definitely not, maybe you flashed buggymato and then never erased nvram after that. Tomato on the 6400 can wipe your radio calibration data, depending on how much off the calib is from the default you will never be able to achieve any good wireless results anymore unless you dumped and restore a copy of the data.

The R6400 has been my main router at home, used with more then 10 devices at the same time. Even through 30cm concrete walls I get 250Mbps in 5G and 190Mbps in 2.4G (but I don't have any neighbors that interfere)

Thus definitely user error or broken hw.

R6400 R35030M

Flash from stock erased nvram
Pretty basic setup, as gateway seems to be running fine with OpenVPN client, 5GHz Wi-Fi seems to give same speeds as 2.4GHz when testing on S7 Mobile but through the VPN not tested without but will when home later.
only issue i see with this R6400 DD-WRT is any of the LAN ports are light red when connected to PC but everything is working correctly.
If i connect my R7800 LAN ports are white so not NIC issue on PC.

When i enabled QoS i become with 5GHZ fullspeed.

But with 2.4ghz my Wlan Speed is to slow.

From 200M bits i become only 70-110 Mbits?

Where is the problem, why 2.4ghz is so slow speed. QoS is enabled

I have 200mbits down and 10mbits up from my provider
