Ok, so it stayed even after unplugging then plugging router back in. I was going to post when it installed but wanted to make sure it wouldn't revert back.

The version I installed is "Express VPN" (seems as it is infact dd-wrt). The ip address shows this: hxxp://192.168.21.1/ddwrt/Status_Bandwidth.asp (I put x's just because).

The reason I am sharing it here is because maybe someone can take a look at why this one is different. The only thing is, after rebooting router you have to go to IP address and click a button to enable internet to go through otherwise its default is VPN.

I'll add some screenshots below. Plus link to the .bin file.

The bin file is: https://mega.nz/#!Q54xyRIJ

Sorry about the big images. I do have more but dont want to flood the site with images.

I will update if router resets.
By the way, I updated firmware the usual way through the router.

This is not the original DD-WRT firmware - this is modified.

You might want to do a trace on it's ip connections to see who is getting the info in China.

Yeah at work when I get home I'll make the pics smaller. Or I'll delete the bigger ones.

On a side note it, at Express VPN the firmware I installed was for EA6200. I compared firmware and they are identical.

Yes the EA6350 is basically the EA6200 with external antennas instead of internal ones.

It's the same CPU and WiFi chipsets.

Again we all caution you using modified DD-WRT software - no idea if it's trustworthy. Here is the link to the most recent build of the original DD-WRT firmware for the EA6350:

This is good news as I have a 6350 lying around that I'd like to use as an ExpressVPN client.

What's the performance like?
