Status: Working well

Errors: None so far.
4+days on R9000. SFE enabled, QOS enabled, no reboot issues.
AD chip MAC address reports correctly again now, instead all zeros in the last few builds.
Sold build. Thanks! BS.
so sfe is off, cause qos is on. unless u manually entered the command to force sfe on with qos (pointless, no downlink control but its doable). im assuming u didnt do that or it probably would of been mentioned _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Nope, in this build I'm able to turn on both SFE and QOS, no issues. _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

She don't do that with r33555 on the EA8500.
QOS on = SFE off
It will still show enabled in the webif but she is lyin'
::::: then on the other other side :::::
Kong r33545M

Yes, Thanks. Enabling QOS disables SFE, though in the GUI it is still sows as enabled.
When I disable QOS, I can see two modules with shortcut_fe shows up with lsmod command. _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

only in kong build sfe can be enabled with qos (no downlink support though), in bs builds gui still shows enabled, when its not
unless u give the router a command to manually enable sfe _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

OK, I enabled SFE from command line
Code:
insmod shortcut-fe
with QOS enabled and was able see the two modules loaded.
Hope it is now enabled. Let's see if reboots as it used to do previously... _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

So the downside of enabling SFE with QOS is no downlink control. But uplink QOS will work?
I only need the uplink control for my VOIP phone to work well. _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down
