Hello,

SO my TP-Link WR1043N(D) 2.x router is running Gargoyle 1.12 and I want to switch to OpenWRT. I got the image (openwrt-19.07.3-ath79-generic-tplink_tl-wr1043nd-v2-squashfs-sysupgrade) but just wanted to know if it is possible to do that directly from the Gargoyle or do I have to revert to stock firmware first?

If so, do I simply just use this - tl-wr1043NDv2_webrevert?

You do realize this is the DD-WRT forums and not the OpenWRT forums, right?

I'm not trying to troll you just wondering if you went to the wrong site is all.
