Hi everyone, if this has been posted before I am sorry, I just can't find anything that would help this situation. Basically I picked up a brand new router, downloaded the factory to ddwrt bin file and tried to manually install. Once the router reboots it says successful install but it is still in the linksys UI. I've tried several different bins, 30/30/30, restore previous firmware and cycling the power 3 times. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks for responding, I wasn't worried about the 30/30/30 because I am still in the return window, and already frustrated that I could not get it working. I have been through all of the links in your sig and there is nothing in there that can help me. Any other ideas?

You really haven't given us enough info for one.
What router do you have ???
what firmware did you use ver.# ???
If you actually flashed the unit and you rebooted and it still on the linksys UI i would guess it it didn't flash your unit. _________________ ISP: Charter

Sorry, I thought putting the router model in the title was enough. It is a WRT3200ACM. I have tried to flash versions r34311, r34080, r33986, r33772, r33679. When the router finishes installing the firmware it says "firmware update complete" and reboots into the linksys UI.

Refer to https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=313051. See my comment there on boot_part. See if it changes for you when you reboot to previous firmware from within Linksys UI. _________________ WRT3200ACM - Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r35681 std (04/06/18).

If you find no fun from the other suggestions, if you have another computer to flash from, try that. Or a different browser, browser extensions, turn off any software firewall, virus/malware scanner etc. Not sure with macs if that is what you are using. _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes

I think what they are describing is when you flash from the Linksys Firmware UI to ddwrt, the router during the reboot looses its connection to the web browser and appears to be doing nothing, continuing to sit on the reboot screen endlessly.
The solution here is once you preform the update to ddwrt from the Linksys UI and you see all the lights on the router come back up from the reboot.... Close your browser and reopen it and goto whatever ip http://192.168.x.x your router is at ( where ever you programmed it to be at ).
At this point you should be in the DD-Wrt User Interface in your web browser.

Unfortunately, Only WRT3200ACM models with serial numbers starting with 198106 can be flashed. For the time being, only re-certified WRT3200ACMs are available.... yeah! an expensive lesson after you've bought one...look at this link for more info https://www.flashrouters.com/blog/2018/02/07/is-the-wrt3200acm-dd-wrt-unflashable/
