Extender EX2700 can't connect to R8000 anymore after few hours (less than 24).
Back to 34015.

Router: 2x Netgear R7000
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34320M kongac (01/03/1Cool
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r34015M kongac (12/09/17)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.109-rc1 #482 SMP Wed Jan 3 15:42:11 CET 2018 armv7l
Status: Working great so far, will report errors if they come up.
Reset: No, flashed via ddup --flash-latest
Errors: None noticed so far.

The Gateway is running OpenVPN server, USB, SFE, QoS, dnsmasq as DHCP server, overclocked to 1400, and all is working well.

The second is a AC-only AP for my servers, also overclocked to 1400 with SFE enabled working great. Pretty much no features enabled on this one though, fast page loads for my sites though.

So far, this seems like a quality build. If any problems arise, I'll be sure to report them here. Thanks, devs! Smile

EDIT: Well, after testing things out, I tried streaming Pandora from my iPhone 6S+ and it just stayed constant loading/buffering and didn't play anything. I downgraded back to 34015 and the problem went away. So I think I'mma stick to 34015 for now.

Router: Netgear R7000
Firmware: v3.0-r34320M kongac (01/03/18)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.109-rc1 #482 SMP Wed Jan 3 15:42:11 CET 2018 armv7l
Status: Up and running for 2 days
Reset: Soft boot before and after ddup
Errors: None

Upgraded via 'ddup --flash-latest' from 34015. No 'erase nvram' this time.

I'm seeing more "authentication fail" messages in the syslog, but I'm not sure where they originate. I have a few more wireless devices connecting to the R7000 now, so one or more of them may be guilty.

The temperatures are good: CPU 58.0 °C / WL0 48.0 °C / WL1 49.0 °C (The R7000 is wall-mounted.)

Current basic R7000 setup (subject to change of course):
- SFE - On
- Static WAN IP
- LAN DHCP Enabled
- IPv4 only
- 1 wireless VLAN on wl0
- Encrypt DNS disabled
- Wireless: Regulatory Domain = UNITED_STATES, wl0 NG-Mixed (ch. 7 + 5), wl1 NA-Mixed (ch. 161 + 159), AES
- SNMP enabled, SSH enabled, Telnet disabled
- Firewall enabled, Log Level high
- Syslog: remote to Logentries. klogd: disabled.
- USB Flashdrive mounted as JFFS, adblocking via pixelserv
- NO: ttraf, VNC, Zabbix, VPN, Radius, OpenVPN
- NO: Port forwarding, UPnP, DMZ, QoS
- NO: Samba, CIFS, JFFS2, miniDLNA, Entware, Optware

34320 will not allow my hp m477fdw printer to connect reliably to wl0. Going back to 34015 solves the connectivity issue.

My AC68U is losing track of time with this build, i was using empty ntp server without any problems in 34015.
Tried filling with some server ip, but the problem remains.
Back to 34015.

Observed yesterday an issue with my Netgear WNCE4004 (wireless client bridge):
The wnce4004 can not connect to my R6300V2 anymore (via wifi, tested both on w0/2.4G and wl1/5G).
It seems there is an issue with the dhcp on the R6300V2, the wnce4004 seems to be connected and immediately after the connect the connection is interrupted and it starts all over again.

Today flashed the R6300v2 back to 34015 (without reset) and the wnce4004 is connecting again.
But as I checked the log (34015 on wl1) it seems that the wnce4004 is not the most stable unit (seldom dhcp reconnects on 34015 with wl1).
As far as I remember wnce4004 dhcp reconnects occurred in the past as well, from time to time, not dramatic.

Not made up my mind yet how to proceed, keep the R6300v2 on 34015 or maybe it is time to exchange the old wnce4004.

Could you help met getting the 34015 image for my R7000?

After endless issues with BS builds i want to try Kong's image and since you tested a few things already i would like to start with image 34015 first Wink

Thanks in advance.

Use dd-wrt.K3_R7000.chk if you're on stock firmware, or dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD.bin if you're already on DD-WRT. I'd recommend reading http://ddwrt-kong.clonevince.fr/Supported%20Models just to make sure you're doing it right.

34015 is a really good build. I had 20+ days uptime on my gateway with QoS, OpenVPN Server, SFE, dnsmasq for DHCP, USB and overclocked to 1400 with no problems or cutouts. Best of luck. Smile

Hi,

I am trying to airplay from ipad to appletv over openvpn tun

Here is what I am trying to achive

ipad->airplay -> openvpn -> appletv

appletv and openvpn tun are in separate network (routed)

Started mdns-repeater to send the multicast mdns packet to both netorks(openvpn - tun2 and appletv -br0). mdns-repeater successfully repeats the multicast packets from br0 to tun2. But I can not see any multicast packets from the openvpn tun2 interface(from openvpn client i.e ipad).

Can anyone provide some help ?
