Hi, i would like to make the following possible at home:

I have two ISPs, two routers
I attached a drawing, that it gets more clear

DDWRTA (nodeA) shall work as the active node with a better connection to the internet, usually DHCP and WIFI are served by nodeA

Scenario 1:
if ISPA is not working (maybe use some watchdog?) then nodeB will get the active gateway. it will get all the information, or it has it already about the DHCP leases and the WIFI connections. nodeB will serve as DHCP and WIFI AP

Scenario 2:
if ISPA is working, but somehow the DHCP part or the WIFI part of the router is not running well (also needs to have some watchdog?), then nodeB shall use ISPA, if the router A is still working on LAN, and shall be the WIFI and DHCP server

Scenario 3:
if nodeA crashes, freezes or other stuff, then nodeB shall know about the current connections and serve them on DHCP, WIFI and LAN

I know some things about Routers and HA, just i do not know DDWRT, so maybe you are able to help me with showing directions or recommending me some ideas, for example that DDWRT is not capable of this requirement Smile

PS, this is just a game, play fair
