So are you saying I must enable IPv6 to make NTP work? Because I don't need IPv6. Can I enable it safely even if I don't need it?
Thank you.

In case helpful, on my WRT1900ACSv1 I do have IPv6 enabled and working with Comcast in Seattle area of WA (DHCPv6 w/ Prefix Delegation, Prefix Length 64, Dhcp6s Enabled, Radvd Enabled - everything else disabled).

I also have in Time Settings the NTP Client Enabled, Time Zone US/Pacific, Server IP/Name 0.us.pool.ntp.org. I have never noticed my router not having the right time, etc.

BUT -- I have a suspicion that reports of 'NTP not working' might not be this setting? If it is though, it is WORKING for me - I wanted IPv6 on and use it with XBOX Live (I help test some XBOX stuff sometimes).

Ok, after several tries, I can confirm that NTP works with IPv6 enabled.
My provider is not IPv6, so I have enabled it only to make NTP work, with no options and everything else disabled. I hope this it will not be a problem to have IPv6 enabled on an IPv4 provider...

That means it's still broken in that regard, that should NEVER be necessary.
If you really need the "newer build" then you have no choice.
If you revert back to r34315 you will not have those issues.

My router is behind another IPv4 router (it is NATted), so I think it would be safe for me let IPv6 enabled...

So I am to understand NTP works when IPv6 is enabled?

system:
Linksys WRT1900ACSV2
DD-WRT v3.0-r34886 std (02/10/1Cool

I'm no expert, virgin have not implemented IPV6, but enabling it in the router solved the time issue .... don't know if I did right or not, but everything seems to be working, I just hope virgin media can get their act together and of implement IPV6.

Managed to download the latest firmware via ftp ... http still not working, still get
download1.dd-wrt.com refused to connect
tried wget with similar resaults
