Possibly found a bug in this firmware on a WRT1200AC v2. For anyone using a VPN to encrypt their internet connection, try disabling your VPN and see if your kill switch still works if you have it setup.
I've seen it a few times as well, early on it worked but more recently its been sporadic at best or as you say its failing. Below is the firewall rule I'm using which I copied over from another vpn service.

Found an issue today. DHCP DNS not being handed out to chromebooks (I have my own DNS server setup on a raspberry pi using pihole).
Also WebUI seemed to have died after 2 days of uptime. Had to log in via ssh and reboot. Rolled back to Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34578 std (01/19/1 _________________ Linksys WRT1900ACv2 - My new go to build: DD-WRT v3.0-r44048 std (08/02/20) - STABLE

yuhhaurlin or Brain Slayer won't drop everything just because you're not happy lol.
Dang, I thought they just cared about me!
Yes all the whining and complaining gets old. Don't have something constructive to comment on then keep quiet. yuhhaurlin is working on issues and adding features and Brainslayer cannot do anything until given a new driver to work with.

Well my point I was trying to make is that I hear things like I'm not messing with such and such until such and such is fixed, as if someone else other then them will suffer for it.
The folks at Marvell don't read any of this stuff and I doubt Brain Slayer browses through these threads very often.
If people want to be heard they need to start with filing a proper bug report, not some half assed crap like "it's broke no vpn" and then provide no logs. _________________ WRT3200ACM

@aairon
Could not have said it better. Have suggested more then once to folks to open a ticket, but would rather just bitch. Have even provided the svn link. With BS supporting over 500 routers I doubt that he reads the forums much. Do a scan, but not much else. You rarely see a comment from him unless it is like when he was focused on the WRT's at one point.

Yeah I think something is wacky with using DNSmasq DNS and DHCP on this build, but it could be a number of combination I have configured that I don't have the time to troubleshoot ATM.
Easier just to roll back. But if you do figure out what it is please post the solution.
Can anyone confirm if the uPnpd is working on the wrt1900ac v1 with this build? I'm sitting on 33215 since that seems like the last build that it worked on that hardware. _________________ Location (urban) - 1x Linksys EA8500 (AP wlan0 & wlan1 enabled)
