WRT600N/V1.1 Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34929 mega (02/12/1 Kernel: Linux 2.4.37 #48264 Mon Feb 12 07:34:40 CET 2018 mips Previous: some old Mode/Status: OK Reset: no Issues/Errors: no
it's looks stable. No problems with, wifi, vpn, NTP etc.
Router/Version: D-Link DIR-868L rev C
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34929 std (02/12/18 )
Previous: r34886
Mode/Status: AP, Router
Reset: No
Issues/Errors: No way to make Samba works, i think its broken,
Have this Router for about 6 months and still it is useless, factory FW sucks hard, DD wrt works way better in many factors but still with critical issues!
Router/Version: ASUS AC3200
Firmware:DD-WRT v3.0-r34929 giga ( 02/12/18 )
Kernel: Linux 4.4.115 #2598 SMP Mon Feb 12 09:55:59 CET 2018 armv7l
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r34377
Mode/Status: Gateway/AP
Reset: No
Issues/Errors:
MASSIVE transmission errors after just 8 minutes running time. This issue has been present from 34080 to present.
52%
4987 OK, 4667 errors
Also since at least 34080, no WiFi clients can connect at all after about 2 hours of run time. It's like the DHCP server just dies/stops working entirely and refuses all connections.
I did not use any versions prior to that, except a Dec 2015 copy on an AC66u that worked and had no errors, no client connection problems. But I do not wish to run so old of a version of firmware.
UPDATE:
After 12 minutes run time.. even worse!
6725 OK, 18870 errors
UPDATE2:
After 17 minutes run time
8855 OK, 31081 errors
Update 3:
Interestingly - this same build on an AC66u works with ZERO transmission errors (and the unit is sitting next to the AC3200, so same physical location).
UPDATE4:
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34311 std (12/29/17)
works without any transmission errors on AC66u and on AC3200
Router/Version: ASUS RT-AC66U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r34929 giga (02/12/1
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-dd #17720 Mon Feb 12 15:12:30 CET 2018 mips
Mode/Status: Gateway/AP
Reset: No
Issues/Errors:
Still need to power off then on physically to get Internet working. If I do a soft reboot, never gets the internet. _________________ ASUS RT-AC3200 - Deployed Client's site

Issues/Errors: Same NTP time issue as WNDR4000; added a Startup Script `sleep 5;ntpclient us.pool.ntp.org` and rebooted; now time works fine.

UPDATE: Also went for the first F7D8302 update since the OEM flash to K3X 33772 trailed build from the GUI. DD GUI update failed...twice. Tried 34886 and a re-downloaded 34929, no love. So I wget'd it then tried the `write {file} linux` but got some service errors and a "bad .trx header" message. Instead of trying a header-less generic file, I just did a `mtd write {file} linux` and it worked (slowly); then a reboot and I'm golden! Olympic committee is sending me a medal I hear...

Mode/Status: Gateway/AP; NTP works at boot since this is setup as a gateway
Issues/Errors: Weird stuff happening with the radios; both show up in the GUI, but my Android phone (usually) is only showing the 5 GHz radio in the actual available SSID list (and I've connected to it now) while the Wireless Scanner only shows the 2.4 GHz. Win10 sees both though. Guess I need to try a reset at some point.
I also noticed, in this endeavor, that the `cat /proc/mtd` output in GUI Commands doesn't match telnet:

Old Version 34876 on both Routers.
Using Tp-Link 841ndv9 as client. Archer C7v2 is main.
Standard use. Client mode (841nd) works again.
Resets on both Machines after flash.
Good luck for all.
