I'm currently running DD-WRT v3.0-r39715M kongac (05/09/19) on my R7000.

I was running an earlier build from late 2018 and notice that my WAN port won't get a link speed of more than 100 mbit.

I thought a factory reset followed by an upgrade to a later build would fix the issue but no luck.

Screenshot is attached.

I've tried a range of cables and all are cat 6 connecting to gigabit switches with my other devices connection at 1000 mbit expect for this R7000 router

Did you try an "nvram erase && reboot" from ssh?

You would need to re-setup if you did that.

How old is the modem, what type/model? With that modem directly connected to a PC via a gigabit port, are you able to demonstrate +100mbit? That would eliminate your router from the equation.
