WRT1900AC v1 CPU MHz?

Hi
i flashed a Linksys WRT1900AC the v1 model last night with BS 4/26/18 build, but i noticed in the status the CPU clock speed only showed 600MHz?
i have a wrt1900acs here and that shows correctly at 1600MHz
is this a know fault with the wrt1900ac DD-WRT firmware or just this build?
I was under the impression it has a 1200MHz dual core CPU in the V1 so thought it would show as 1200MHz
Its not a stepped CPU so when under load the figure goes up

no i take that back it must be a stepped cpu when under load it does go up to 1200MHz yet the VPN speedtest is really poor?
