need help R7000 with WAN VLAN500

My ISP PPPoE is supplied at VLAN 500

I have a netgear R7000, when i load it with tomoto or merlin, my WAN can use VLAN500 correctly.

but when i use dd-wrt, the VLAN tag 500 just wont work, i am sure it must be workable it just that i did something wrong. can anyone provide a guide to teach me what should be the correct setup?

i tried below but not working

Broadcom units support VLAN 1-15. The robo module have to be loaded to shift the VLAN range in the 500.

If you’re daring enough, you can try flashing my build for your R7000. You can use the dir868/880 image. There’re the same for the R7000 (only if flashing from DD-wrt, not from factory firmware).

Alternatively you can use the kernel modules I’ve uploaded there as well with the latest official dd-wrt builds.

Do note that you can’t configure VLANs greater than 15 using the GUI. Can only be done using scripts.

Besides VLAN500 you can also configure VLAN600 for your IPTV service if you’re using it.
