Does anyone have a working /jffs/etc/crontab ?

Acording to wiki, crontab file can be stored in /jffs/etc, however, it does not seem to work in my case. Cron itself works fine, if jobs are added from GUI or if /tmp/crontab is modified manually.

I tried searching and found that other people have the same problem. Is it a known issue, or I am doing something wrong?
