Hi,
In my country (India) most of the routers for sale do not support DD-WRT.

https://www.amazon.in/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wifi+router&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Awifi+router

I have been wondering if I can contribute to DD-WRT by porting DDWRT to these routers.

I am a software engineer with good experience in C/C++ but little to no experience in Kernel programming.

I am curious to know if i can help with porting DDWRT to these routers. I am sure these are not powerful routers and may have poor hardware.
What are the requirements for a router to be able to support DDWRT?
Are there some resources i can refer to to get started?
How can i help with a router that hasn't been worked on yet?

This sounds like a daunting task, but something i really want to do!

Any help, highly appreciated! Smile

Thanks!
