Status: Multiple Wireless Issues
Reset: No (Will attempt very soon)
Errors: See below for devices tested and issues.
Device Name --- LG G3 D855
OS ------------ Android 6.0
Issue 01 ---- Fails to connect when router using "VHT80 (80 MHz)"
Issue 02 ---- Fails to connect when router using "AC Only"
Issue 03 ---- Fails to connect when router using "Wide HT40 (40MHz)"
Device Name --- Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro
OS ------------ Android 6.0
Issue 01 ------ Can connect and operate on all 5GHz network modes and channel widths (Occurrences of disconnections and internet issues have been recorded)
Device Name --- Apple iPad Mini 2
OS ------------ IOS 11.2.6
Issue 01 ---- Fails to connect when router using "VHT80 (80 MHz)"
Issue 02 ---- Fails to connect when router using "AC Only"
Issue 03 ---- Fails to connect when router using "Wide HT40 (40MHz)"
------------- When using above bands and channel widths ipad reports incorrect password
Devices that are able to connect when using "Wide HT40 (40MHz)", "VHT80 (80 MHz)" seem to have low link speeds of 150M and lower (Device tested has max capable link speed of 866M).
Devices have also been tested using "Jperf2.0" and only achive max transfer speed of roughly 200Mbps (When using "AC/N-Mixed" & "Dynamic (20/40 MHz)"). Increasing settings and testing results in much lower sub 100Mbps results.
Other than this i have located no other issues and will continue testing.
If you would like to conduct any further tests for the above issues or give you any other information please let me know and i shall do what i can.
Hello, i have just made some adjustments based on the "wifi settings link" that you informed me about and there seems to be some improvement.
The Lenovo Yoga tab 3 pro is now getting an average download speed of 250Mbps using "Jperf2.0", although still no where near its theoretical rated maximum of 866Mbps.
The LG G3 D855 is now able to connect to the channel width "VHT80 (80MHz)" and receives average download speed of 10Mbps using "Jperf2.0".
Apple ipad mini 2 however still is unable to connect.
I will attach screenshot of settings for you to verify and do apologise if i have misread your instructions.

cause thats all it is.. a theoretical max that is impossible to get wifi has always been like this, its got overhead. 250mbps is acceptable for a tablet, as its a low power device & i dont know what hardware is in it (cpu power matters here) an also router tx power is low. there is other settings mentioned that i see arent changed, like short preamble.
try a 36-48 or 149-161 channel (with proper extension setting) the ipad probably doesnt support dfs channels (52-144) _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

1 - still broken massively logging - last 3 releaased builds --
daemon.err httpd[1078]: Request Error Code 408: No request appeared within a reasonable time period.
2. SSH with certificate is still broken in last 3 releases. not sure if these are related.

Ok, everything seems to be working well now, ive set the channel to 36, seems that anything but the tablet has trouble operating on channel 50 and above, i would try the channel 149-161 which you recommended, however i could not seem to get the option to display.
Anyway, thank you for the support and help, i do really appreciate the time which you have taken out to assist me in learning something new and finding a resolution to my problem.

cause ur using UK reg domain, switch it to US/canada/haiti and they will appear (must have the same reg domain for both bands). depending on where ur devices were bought they may have a region lock on them for a country that doesnt support those channels so they wont see or connect to them, if that happens just select a lower 36-48 channel again. reg domain dont matter for that, a channel is a channel (when a common channel is used that all support), only for tx power limits and channel availability it matters _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

DD-WRT v3.0-r35452 std [03/20/18]
Linux 4.9.88 #64 SMP PREEMPT Sun Mar 18 18:56:11 CET 2018 armv7l
9980 still on ath10k 10.4-3.5.3-00050
and yea it has 128k nvram ... for whatever reason.
ovpn server good
VLAN good
static leases good
SAMBA share Ext4 good
local DNS good
radios good
LZO Frame Compression is still disabled both radio and GUI
Wireless Nodes now do not show any LZO so guess that is fixed....have to look into that afterlater.
still using 3 sets openNIC (non-logging) DNS servers ...aint even gonna turn on unbound.
