I tried installing this build over the weekend. First, I tried a dirty flash with config. Then I tried a clean flash without config, then loading the backup config. Then I tried a clean flash without config without reloading the backup.
In all instances (after manual reboot of both router and modem), my intranet worked but internet was down. I could "see" my external IP, but nothing on my network could talk to anything outside of my network.
I had to roll back to r35531 on my WRT-3200ACM.

Have you considered that your ISP still holds the old WAN IP for your previous setup? And that it might take some time before you actually get a new WAN IP and therewith internet access.
Think the intermediate time here is 10 minutes for this to work.

This build and the previous build seem to have broken the update/flashing firmware function. When I try to flash my router on this build and the previous one my router gets stuck and doesn't reboot at the end of the flashing. I have to manually reboot the router to get access back to the management page.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I reverted back to build 35531, I am able to do a dirty flash and a reset of nvram without issue.

You’re correct but if you are referring to the post above yours the way I read it is that was only an “in place upgrade” so no mac change. The only time you will run into a problem with the ISP, dd-wrt and mac changes is when you upgraded FROM Linksys Stock firmware TO dd-wrt.
For whatever reason the last digit of the mac changes when you flash from stock to dd-wrt on the wrt1900’s and 3200. Do you have one and are you running dd-wrt? Don’t take my word for it, look at the mac addy on the bottom sticker of the router and compare it with the active mac currently on your Status Tab. Then flash back to stock FW and the mac will revert back to the label on your router. That being said the latest builds have proven to be problematic for us. I’ve had a number of connection issues on the wrt3200acm with last three recent builds.

Sometimes it is (for me) required to stop the modem for some minutes (waiting for ip renewal at WAN) and then in the right sequence start modem/router.
At one time even had to call assistance from ISP as i was no longer getting WAN IP's.
(which turned out the chain of switches behind the router was keeping network settings).
Just an idea. As this thread is not mentioning this issue frequent, strange that this is a flaw in the 3200ACM firmware. Which i doubt for now.

No, it wasn't a consideration. When I manually reboot the router, I usually also reboot my modem and switches. They are on the same power strip. Flip a switch, watch the clock for a minute, flip the switch back on.
But back on point... My home server also hosts a couple of ts3 servers, so I tend to watch my external ip very closely. Like I said, I could "see" my (external) ip, I just couldn't do anything outside of my intranet.
Installed 35681 dirty on my WRT1200ACV2 Client Bridge routed.
At the moment i got this every ten minutes:
Apr 10 06:52:00 1200 user.info : Maybe upnp had died, we need to re-exec it
Apr 10 06:52:00 1200 user.info : Maybe dhcpfwd had died, we need to re-exec it
I run a WRT3200acm with 35452 and i lose connection nearly every day for round half an hour. Then i have to turn off and on all devices. Yesterday i had to turn off and on my modem to get my wan ip back again.

Since you did a dirty install, I would suggest a reset and reconfigure.
For the wrt3200, why not install latest. In both cases do a reset and a reconfigure. Do not use a backup to do the config.
Also, if you have not, read the stickies which can also be found in my sig. _________________ Unifi Security Gateway:Unifi Firmware Netgear r7800:Voxel Firmware Modem:Netgear CM500V voice and Data. A WiFi router with WiFi disabled is a bit of a chocolate teapot. What are you trying to prove? _________________ Linksys WRT32X v1 - r45677

It is going to crash or reboot, its just matter of time. The problem (as explained in the edge software forum) seems to be the CPU speed switching. The router in kernel 4.9.x is put at 600Mhz and it moves up to 1200Mhz under load. In kernel version 3.18.50 (last stable build I was able to download) the 1900AC v1 is always at 1200Mhz.
I was using kernel 4.9.90 and it crashed after few days for no clear reason. I have downgraded to kernel 3.18.50 for the time being.
@myersw
now i reset the wrt1200acV2 und just set it to be a routed bridge. still get the info every 2 minutes

because my router wrt3200acm runs quite ok at the moment i dont want to install a firmware that runs not well on my wrt1200acv2. thats like the testdevice for me.
