Yes unbridge the 5GHz, or make an extra VAP (Virtual Access Point ) on the 5 GHz, so that it is on its own subnet and then use Policy Based Routing (PBR) to route only the subnet of the 5 GHz through the VPN.

You are probably on an old build please state your build number. Latest which is probably working is 35531 from 26th of march, but you have to research the build threads

Great news I upgraded my Router on lunch its now on build 35531 it was on build 21061 before.
So whats the easy way of doing this?
Will devices on the 5GHz & 2.4GHz still be able to interact local
E.G if i have my Apple Tv on the 5GHz VPN and i want to stream my Iphone screen to it can my iphone be on the 2.4GHz or do i need to connect to the 5GHz

Clients on different subnets can reach each other locally (with a little script beacause of the used PBR) BUT streaming is probably not possible between subnets, because this often relies on things like dlna/mDNS/zero conf.
Not sure how Apple stream works though.

You can keep everything on the same subnet and the use static leases to hand out IP addresses and then use that IP address in PBR and route through the VPN, but then that client is always routed through the VPN.
By routing only the 5 GHz you have the ability to choose whether you want VPN and thus connect to the 5 GHz or not and connect to the 2.4 GHz.

Maybe a matter of trial and error, which way works best Smile
